To help support the games and arts community, we have also commissioned games by new teams for creatives that were paired through our various programs with funding from our partners. Often called “Jam Games”, selected developers of various disciplines come together over a few months to create new original games for our festivals and events and are paid an honorarium for their efforts. This results in the creation of new games while supporting those who make it.
