WordPlay 2017 Schedule and Speakers Announced!
Sat. Nov. 18th, 2017, 12-5pm
Toronto Reference Library
789 Yonge St. (Bloor-Yonge subway)
Free!
Clear your calendars and dig out that library card (although you don’t need one to attend WordPlay :P), because we are back in Toronto this year!! Last year, we were hosted at the British Library in London, England and we had a blast. We are just about a month away from this year’s WordPlay festivities and we are way too excited for our own good to announce our lineup of speakers and workshop instructors.
Some program highlights: Chris Klimas, creator of the popular Twine interactive fiction tool; four writers from the world of AAA talk about the indie games that inspire them; Leah Hoyer from Telltale Games trains your brain for maximum narrative design power; discover experimental parser-based work and hypertext fiction with Katherine Morayati and Jenny Goldstick; and much, much more!

About WordPlay
WordPlay is our free one-day festival celebrating the most interesting uses of writing and words in contemporary games. Now in our fifth year, we will once again host a curated game showcase, talks by creators about their craft, and ways for the public to try their hand at making games.
