Jph’s hard at work retrofitting the five new arcade cabinets right now for the upcoming Arcadian Renaissance Nuit Blanche event at TIFF Bell Lightbox. As if that wasn’t enough, he’s also written a how to article (Build Your Own Indie Arcade Cabinet) and is documenting the process on his Flickr set. Drooling over the naked metal not enough for ya? Wanna pitch in? Here’s some volunteer positions we’re looking to fill:

• Have a car and a free 2-3 hrs this week? We need someone to get the bits and pieces to Jph’s workshop. Bonus: get to see the machines in progress!
• Are you a graphic designer? We need some visual flash to draw attention to the awesomeness.
• Are you a shooter? Free for a few hours the night of Oct 2? The Nuit Blanche event needs to be documented on video.
• Are you a Nuit owl? We need people to take shifts helping out on the ground at the Oct. 2 event. More people, less burnout.
• Donate your old/spare video card (256m+), speakers, or VGA cables.
