Site 3, a new art/tech colaboratory, are having their opening event next weekend. It’s an all day thing — you can get a soldering workshop in the afternoon, check out the Burning Man-bound fire machine in the evening, or just party at night. (They’re also running an Intro to Chiptunes workshop on August 15th that looks great.) I’m super-excited to see the space, a former-blacksmith shop at Bloor and Ossington.

As if that wasn’t enough awesome for one weekend, just got word that the Atmosphere kids are running Gentrification: the Game in Kensington Market, worth visiting anyway just for the Pedestrian Sunday aspect.
