This is the beginning of a new age… of beers. And I don’t mean legal drinking age, that’s beyond the scope of this event. But starting on Wednesday June 26th, and every last Wednesday of every month that will follow, Toronto will be the home of a new social gathering : Torontaru! (toh-ron-tah-roo)
Perhaps you’ve heard of 8-4’s Otaru evenings in Tokyo? Every week, these guys round up the local (and visiting) game scene and have a chat over biirus.
We felt like Toronto needed a similar event with the simple aspirations of providing a place for friendly, game-inclined ladies and gents to meet and have a pint, every month. No-fuss funtimes.
So come, and bring your friends, to the first of many Torontarus to come.
