Super FESTival 2024 is coming!

Hey game lovers 🕹️ We’re here with an announcement hot out of the HES oven – Super FESTival 2024 is coming November 18th-24th! Save the date!

In 2021 we did a text WordPlay, SuperFEST in 2022 went 2D, and grew an axis to 3D in 2023. For 2024 we are jumping dimensions again, presenting the festival in glorious 4D with our long-awaited return to games in-person. Yes it’s true, the Hand Eye Society Ball returns! Dust off your fancy fits, you’re not going to want to miss this one. It’s going down Saturday, November 23rd. Sign up for our newsletter and follow our socials for more details as we have them.

But wait, there’s more! We’re going full HES nostalgia this year and are very excited to get our full collection of Torontron arcade cabinets (8 machines!) ready to spread the game showcase across the city. All before we reach the alt controller bonanza that is the Ball. Our super cool website will be Very Online throughout, hosting the full lineup of games, talks, panels, and workshops, with everything making it into the HES Archive after. Get ready to play-your-own festival!

Artists, makers, and do-ers – Keep your ear on the ground for a whole spread of submission calls coming over the next couple months. We need illustrators, mentors, games, alt controller projects, talks, workshops, and volunteers. Get your good stuff ready 📣
