TO Jam Registrations Open, Volunteer Positions

That’s right, the Toronto Independent Game Development Jam is happening Apr. 23-25th at an all new venue and with a great theme. You’ve got nine days to get a team together and register… there’s been some interesting looking additions at our help wanted/offered page in case that helps!

Also, we’re looking for Society members to volunteer for the following:

STREET TEAM: An easy one — show up for the Social this Thursday and grab a stack of postcards to help spread the word about the Society and the videogame culture projects we support. Drop ’em off at any places you feel game makers and enthusiasts are likely to see ’em.

TORONTRON DEPLOYMENT: The Indie Arcade Cabinet is going to be showcasing Toronto games at Flash in the Can, the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, and Nuit Blanche. If you’ve got a pair of strong arms, a dolly we can use or a largish vehicle, we’d love to hear from you.

EDUCATION WORKING GROUP: Are you excited about getting games into schools? We are looking at different ways to get students making and thinking about games, and different ways to support educators with resources.

Just shoot an email and we’ll get you hooked up!
